About Beitostølen Health Sports Center

Beitostølen Health Sports Center (BHSS) is a rehabilitation institution within the specialist health service that provides services to children, adolescents and adults with various diagnoses, disabilities and functional levels. Activity and participation, with a focus on opportunities rather than limitations, are our fundamental guiding principles. Through adapted physical activity, combined with medical, educational and social support, participants are given tools to challenge their own limits and create new arenas of mastery.

Every year, around 900 children, young people and adults come to our rehabilitation/habilitation stays. Particular emphasis is placed on activities that are transferable to the participant's own local environment and everyday life. There is no deductible for participating in a stay with us.
