Beitostølen Health Sports Center (BHSS) is a rehabilitation institution in the specialized health service that offers rehabilitation for children, adolescents and adults with various diagnoses, disabilities and functional levels. Activity and participation with a focus on opportunities rather than limitations is an important guideline in the user offering, based on specialized interdisciplinary rehabilitation expertise.

If you want to work with horses as a means of rehabilitation/habilitation of children, youth and adults, this is the job for you. The position includes daily care and varied training of our horses and follow-up of our users during riding lessons. We are looking for someone who has knowledge of horses, riding and driving as well as a great interest in working with people in interaction with horses.

We are looking for people who would like to have:

  • Broad horse experience and good riding skills

  • Experience and interest in horse riding

  • Interest in working with people

  • Experience from working with people with disabilities

  • Good collaboration skills

  • Interest and motivation for the subject and professional development work

  • Personal suitability is emphasized
