Beitostølen Health Sports Center provides rehabilitation/habilitation services for children, adolescents and adults with various diagnoses, disabilities and functional levels. Activity and participation, with a focus on opportunities rather than limitations, are our fundamental guiding principles. Through adapted physical activity, combined with medical, educational and social support, participants are given tools to challenge their own limits and create new arenas of mastery.

As a health secretary/medical secretary, you will have a central role in the patient process, and be an important link between patients, therapists and other professional environments.

Work tasks
  • Handling telephone and email inquiries from patients and partners

  • Coordination of patient appointments

  • Journal work and documentation in electronic systems

  • Interaction with therapists and other healthcare personnel

  • Administrative tasks related to patient care

  • Be a driving force in the work of further developing our electronic medical record system (EMR)

  • Other office tasks as required

Qualifications
  • Authorization as a health secretary or other relevant health education

  • Experience from similar work is an advantage

  • Good digital competence, preferably interest in and experience with electronic medical record systems

  • Good knowledge of Norwegian, both written and spoken.

Practical information
  • Salary according to the current collective agreement KS Main Collective Agreement

  • Working hours Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00

  • An approved police certificate is required in accordance with the Health Personnel Act, Section 20, before joining.
