Target groups and performance agreements
Children and adolescents (2-17 years): "Adapted physical activity, family, education". Diagnosis-independent offer.
Young adults (18-29 years): "Adapted physical activity, family, education". Diagnosis-independent offer.
Adults (from 30 years of age) with neurological or neuromuscular diseases. The target group does not include patients who have had a stroke or have suffered an acquired brain injury. Applicants outside the diagnostic category "neurological and neuromuscular diseases" may still be admitted if the objective is specifically related to health sports or special testing of activity aids. NB! This agreement expires on 30 June 2026. From 1 July 2026, adults from 30 years of age from Helse Midt-Norge cannot be offered rehabilitation with us.
Referral from GPs and contracted specialists:
Referral is sent to the Regional Assessment Unit for Central Norway (RVE).
Electronic: Use Referral 2.0. The referral must be sent to the regional assessment unit HMN via the Norwegian Health Network.
If it is not possible to send the referral electronically, it can be sent by post:
Mail: Regional Assessment Unit for Rehabilitation, Nord-Trøndelag Health Service, PO Box 333, 7601 Levanger.
A referral form is not required, but the referral should contain all the points in the "Referral Checklist" .
Referral from specialist health services:
Referrals regarding hospitalized patients at St. Olavs Hospital, Helse Møre og Romsdal and Helse Nord-Trøndelag are sent directly to Beitostølen Helsesportsenter by post : Beitostølen Helsesportsenter, Legekontoret, Sentervegen 4, 2953 Beitostølen or electronically (Search for "Stiftelsen Beitostølen Helsesportsenter" in the national address register).
From outpatient clinics in Central Norway Health, referrals should go to the Regional Assessment Unit for Rehabilitation (RVE) for rights assessment. This is done as follows in the Health Platform: "Order referral for rehabilitation to HNT ADM REHABILITATION - RVE - REGIONAL ASSESSMENT UNIT HMN (REHR).
A referral form is not required, but the referral should contain all the points in the "Referral Checklist" .
